Steelite Performance Flora Coupe Plates Blue 280mm (Pack of 12)

The Steelite Performance Flora coupe plates are a 280mm round flatware option finished in a distinctive blue colourway. Made from high alumina vitrified china, this is a robust tableware choice aimed at commercial hospitality operations where durability and consistent presentation both matter. Coupe plates — characterised by their shallow, rimless profile — work well for plated starters, main courses, and composed dishes where presentation space and clean sightlines are a priority.

High alumina vitrified construction is a well-regarded choice for front-of-house tableware in busy venues. The material is noticeably harder and more chip-resistant than standard vitrified china, which matters when plates are being cleared, stacked, and run through commercial glasswashers or dishwashers multiple times a day. It also retains heat reasonably well once warmed, which helps dishes hold their serving temperature from pass to table. The blue colourway is consistent across the Flora range, so building a coordinated table setting across multiple plate sizes is straightforward.

Practical considerations for operators include:

• High alumina vitrified body offers strong resistance to chipping and cracking under daily commercial use
• Dishwasher safe and suitable for commercial warewashing cycles
• Good thermal retention once pre-heated at the pass
• Consistent glaze and colourway across the Flora range aids uniform presentation
• Supplied in a pack of 12, practical for service cover planning

These plates are well suited to restaurants, hotel dining rooms, and casual dining venues looking for a coloured flatware option that holds up to the pace of a busy service. The 280mm size is appropriate for main course portions in most settings. For very high-volume operations with rapid turnaround requirements, it is worth considering whether a larger opening quantity makes sense from a stock perspective.

If you are building out a full cover for a new venue or want to discuss how the Flora range fits with your existing tableware, the team is happy to help you work through the options.
