These round elevations from the White Album collection by Rene Ozorio for Steelite are small fine china platforms designed to lift and separate elements on a finished plate. Used as a presentation tool rather than a serving vessel, they allow chefs to add height and visual structure to a dish without altering its composition.
In practice, elevations like these are most commonly found in contemporary fine dining and tasting menu environments, where plating precision and visual consistency matter across every cover. The translucent quality of the fine china body keeps the focus on the food rather than the platform itself, which suits clean, minimal plating styles particularly well.
- Adds height and layering to composed dishes without added bulk
- Translucent fine china keeps presentation clean and uncluttered
- Consistent sizing across the pack supports uniform plating during service
- Coordinates with other pieces in the White Album range for a cohesive table
- Sold in a pack of twelve, suitable for regular rotation through a pass
These elevations are best suited to smaller brigade kitchens with a strong focus on plating detail — tasting menus, à la carte fine dining, or pop-up concepts where presentation is a core part of the offer. They are less likely to suit high-volume or casual dining environments where plating speed takes priority over composition.
If you are building out a White Album table setting or want to discuss how elevations fit into your plating approach, the team is happy to help you think it through.
