The APS FROSTFIRE tray is a GN 1/4 aluminium serving and display tray with a non-stick coating and a two-tone black and silver finish. It is designed for use in buffet counters, catering displays, and food service setups where appearance matters as much as practicality.
The aluminium construction distributes heat evenly, and the tray is rated to move between chilled and heated environments without issue — making it a practical option for operators who use the same equipment across multiple service formats. The non-stick surface reduces food adhesion, which keeps presentation tidy throughout service and simplifies cleaning afterwards.
- GN 1/4 format integrates directly into standard gastronorm systems
- Non-stick coating reduces food adhesion and speeds up cleaning
- Suitable for both chilled displays and heated service applications
- Stackable design reduces storage footprint between services
- Dishwasher safe for straightforward end-of-service cleaning
The tray is not cut-resistant, so direct cutting on the surface should be avoided to preserve the coating. With routine care, it holds its appearance well through repeated use and washing cycles.
It is well suited to hotels, conference venues, and event caterers running buffet or display service, as well as smaller catering operations looking for a smarter-looking alternative to plain stainless trays. For high-turnover operations needing something more heavy-duty, it is worth considering whether a more robust format would better suit the volume.
If you are unsure whether this tray fits your current gastronorm setup or display configuration, we are happy to talk it through.
