The APS VALO glass cover is a simple, well-made cloche designed to protect food on display — whether that’s a whole cake, a selection of pastries, a wedge of cheese, or similar items on a serving platter or cake plate. The transparent glass construction gives a clear, unobstructed view of the contents without lifting the cover, which is practical for both counter display and attended table service.
In a front-of-house or buffet setting, covers like this earn their keep by keeping food fresher for longer, reducing fly and dust contamination, and presenting food tidily without hiding it. The VALO has a clean, contemporary profile that sits comfortably on dressed counters, buffet runs, and cake stands without looking out of place.
- Transparent glass gives a clear view of contents without removing the cover
- Suitable for cakes, pastries, cheeses, pies and similar items on platters or cake plates
- Dishwasher safe for straightforward cleaning between services
- Contemporary styling that works on buffet counters and at table
- Solid handle for confident, controlled lifting during service
It is worth bearing in mind that this is a display and protection cover rather than a temperature-retaining cloche. It will not hold heat in the way a heated dome would, so it is best suited to ambient-temperature display rather than keeping hot food at serving temperature. For sites needing a larger coverage area, the VALO range includes alternative sizes.
If you’re putting together a buffet counter or display setup and want to talk through what works best for the service style you’re running, we’re happy to help.
