The Bolero Beaufort is a square table top designed for general hospitality use. It combines a melamine-faced surface with a chipboard core and a PVC edging strip, giving it the kind of straightforward, practical construction that holds up well in everyday front-of-house environments.
In service, the melamine surface resists the usual wear associated with busy dining rooms — light scratches, moisture from wiped-down surfaces, and the heat of crockery and hot plates placed directly on the top. The PVC edge trims the perimeter and helps absorb the minor knocks that come with daily clearing and resetting. It won’t suit very high-traffic outdoor terraces or environments with heavy dragging of equipment, but for indoor dining it performs reliably over time.
The practical advantages for operators are straightforward:
- Melamine surface is easy to wipe clean and resists staining under normal service conditions
- PVC edging helps protect against chipping and edge damage from day-to-day use
- Pre-drilled fixing points allow quick, consistent installation onto compatible Bolero table bases
- Heat-resistant surface reduces the risk of marking from hot crockery
The pre-drilled holes are designed to align with Bolero’s standard base range, which simplifies specification and avoids guesswork on site. It’s worth confirming base compatibility before ordering if you’re pairing this with existing bases from another manufacturer.
This table top suits cafés, canteen dining areas, pub dining rooms, and breakout spaces where a clean, consistent finish is needed without the cost of solid wood or laminate alternatives. If you’re outfitting a higher-volume site or need something more resistant to outdoor conditions, it’s worth discussing the broader Bolero furniture range with us before finalising your order.
If you’re unsure whether this top is the right fit for your space or base configuration, feel free to get in touch — we’re happy to talk it through.
