These Bolero barrier posts are a straightforward crowd management solution commonly used in restaurants, hotel lobbies, event venues, and public-facing commercial spaces. Each post stands at 960mm and features a flat, weighted base that sits firmly on the floor without the need for any fixings, making them easy to position and reposition as layouts change.
The flat drum top includes a slotted collar designed to accept rope barriers, which are sold separately. This gives operators a clean, consistent look when cordoning off areas, managing queues, or directing foot traffic during busy service periods. The brushed stainless steel finish is hardwearing, resistant to surface marking, and straightforward to wipe down at the end of service.
In practical front-of-house use, these posts hold up well under regular handling. The flat base design keeps each post stable on smooth floor surfaces and also incorporates a stacking gap, so units can be stored neatly together when not deployed — useful where storage space is limited.
- Flat weighted base provides stable, free-standing placement on smooth floors
- Slotted collar on drum top accepts standard rope barrier connections
- Stacking gap in base allows compact storage when posts are not in use
- Brushed stainless steel construction suits both indoor and outdoor environments
- Supplied as a pack of two, ready to use straight away
It is worth noting that the flat base performs best on level, smooth flooring. On uneven or heavily textured surfaces, stability may be reduced, and a heavier or wider-base alternative may be worth considering for high-traffic outdoor settings. At 9kg per post, they have enough weight to resist casual knocks without being difficult to move and reposition manually.
These posts are well suited to restaurants, cafés, hotels, event spaces, and any venue that needs a smart, reusable barrier solution. If you are equipping a larger site or need posts that will see particularly heavy use, it is worth having a conversation with us about the most appropriate specification for your setup.
