Cambro Camrack 16-Compartment Glass Rack Red 156mm Max Height

The Cambro Camrack is a purpose-built compartment rack designed to carry glassware safely through the wash cycle and directly into storage or service without the glasses needing to be handled again. The red 16-compartment version accommodates glasses up to 156mm in height, making it suitable for a broad range of standard tumbler and stemless glassware commonly used in bars, restaurants and banqueting operations.

The practical value of the Camrack system lies in its 4-in-1 approach: the same rack is used for washing, drying, storing and transporting glassware. This removes the handling step between dishwasher and shelf, which is where much glassware breakage typically occurs in busy service environments. For operations running high glass volumes through a pass or bar, that reduction in unnecessary handling has a meaningful impact on breakage rates and therefore replacement costs over time.

Key operational advantages include:

• Colour-coded in red for straightforward identification by glass type or service area
• Compatible with Cambro’s Camdolly for safe floor-level transport between wash and service areas
• Designed to accept a Camrack cover, keeping clean glassware dust-free during storage
• Stackable construction supports efficient use of storage space
• Robust construction suited to the repetitive handling of a commercial wash cycle

The 16-compartment configuration works well in mid-volume operations where a manageable batch size per rack is preferable to larger formats. Sites running very high glass volumes at peak service may find a rack with more compartments more efficient; smaller or lower-turnover outlets may find fewer compartments suit their throughput better. Cambro produces the Camrack in a range of compartment counts and colour options, so it is worth considering your typical glass type mix and service layout before settling on a single configuration.

If you are looking to set up a full Camrack system — including dolly and covers — or are unsure which compartment size and colour combination suits your operation, the team is happy to talk it through with you.
