The Chelsea dining chair is a solid rubber wood side chair finished in a weathered oak stain with a padded seat upholstered in bison tan vinyl. Clean lines and gently curved backs give it a Scandi-influenced profile that sits comfortably alongside a range of interior styles — from contemporary café fitouts to more traditional restaurant dining rooms. Supplied as a pack of six, it is aimed squarely at hospitality operators looking for a cohesive set of chairs that are practical to maintain and built to commercial standards.
In a busy front-of-house environment, durability and ease of cleaning matter as much as appearance. The rubber wood frame is substantially built for commercial use, and the vinyl seat surface wipes down quickly between covers — a practical consideration during a busy service. The chair tucks neatly under standard dining tables, which helps with turnaround and keeps gangways clear during busy periods.
Key practical points for operators:
- CRIB 5 fire resistance rating — meets the standard required for hospitality seating in the UK
- Padded vinyl seat — comfortable for diners, straightforward to clean
- Solid rubber wood frame — suited to the wear of daily commercial use
- Weathered oak finish — works across contemporary, traditional, and retro interior schemes
- Sold in a pack of six — useful for consistent seating across a section or room
These chairs are a reasonable fit for restaurants, cafés, hotel dining rooms, and similar hospitality venues where a clean, mid-weight aesthetic is needed and practical upkeep is a priority. The pack-of-six format suits operators furnishing by section. If you are fitting out a larger space or have specific layout or stacking requirements, it is worth discussing your needs before ordering.
If you would like to talk through suitability for your space or explore other chair options in the range, the team is happy to help.
