The Copenhagen bar chair is a Scandinavian-influenced seating option designed for commercial bar and hospitality environments. It combines a solid wood frame in a dark walnut finish with a Bison Smoke vinyl seat pad, offering a clean, mid-century aesthetic that sits comfortably in a range of venue styles — from contemporary bars to relaxed dining areas.
The frame is constructed from solid sustainably sourced wood with gently curved edges and smooth lines, giving it a finished appearance without appearing delicate. The vinyl upholstery is straightforward to wipe down between covers, which matters in a busy bar setting where stools take more than their share of wear. The upholstery meets CRIB 5 fire safety requirements, which is a practical necessity for most licensed commercial premises.
Supplied as a pack of six, the Copenhagen bar chair is a practical choice for operators furnishing or refreshing a bar area who want a consistent look without sourcing individual units. Key practical points worth noting:
- CRIB 5 compliant upholstery suitable for licensed commercial venues
- Vinyl seat pad wipes clean quickly between use
- Solid wood frame built for daily commercial use
- Sold in a six-pack for consistent appearance across the bar
- Dark walnut finish suits a range of interior colour schemes
These chairs are well suited to bar counters, high tables, and casual dining areas in pubs, restaurants, hotels, and café bars. For operators with particularly high footfall or outdoor-facing spaces, it is worth discussing whether a more robust or weather-resistant option would better suit the environment.
If you are unsure whether the Copenhagen fits your layout or seating height requirements, we are happy to help you work through the options before you order.
