The Copenhagen bar chair is a Scandinavian-influenced seating option designed for bars, restaurant counters, and hospitality venues. It combines a solid wood frame in a dark walnut finish with gently curved edges and a clean silhouette, giving it a considered, mid-century character that works well in a range of venue styles — from casual dining to more refined bar environments.
The seat pad is upholstered in Bison Tan vinyl, which strikes a reasonable balance between everyday comfort and practical maintenance. Vinyl wipe-clean surfaces hold up well in front-of-house settings where spills are routine, and the upholstery conforms to CRIB 5 fire safety standards, which is a baseline requirement for commercial hospitality seating in the UK.
Supplied as a pack of six, the Copenhagen makes it straightforward to furnish a bar counter consistently without mixing finishes or styles. Key practical points worth noting:
- CRIB 5 compliant upholstery — suitable for licensed commercial premises
- Wipe-clean vinyl seat pad — low maintenance in busy service environments
- Solid wood frame constructed for daily commercial use
- Sold in sixes — supports uniform presentation across a bar run
- Curved profile and considered proportions suit a range of venue aesthetics
This chair is well suited to bar counters in pubs, hotel bars, café counters, and casual dining venues. It is not a heavy-contract specification chair intended for the highest-volume late-night venues, and operators fitting out larger or particularly demanding spaces may want to consider a more robust commercial contract option.
If you are unsure whether the Copenhagen is the right fit for your venue layout or style direction, we are happy to talk it through before you order.
