The Dudson Evo Granite Taster Cup is a small-format vitrified stoneware piece designed for tasting portions, amuse-bouche, and pre-dessert service. The Evo range is characterised by its hand-thrown appearance — an intentionally textured, organic finish that sits comfortably alongside both rustic and contemporary table settings. The granite colourway gives a neutral, earthy tone that works well with a broad range of plating styles.
Vitrified stoneware is a practical choice for front-of-house tableware. It offers good chip resistance relative to standard ceramics, holds its appearance through repeated commercial dishwasher cycles, and the denser body helps retain heat in small portions where rapid cooling would otherwise be a concern. At this capacity, the cup is well suited to single-bite or two-bite tasting presentations rather than full starter portions.
For operations running a tasting menu or prix fixe format, consistency across covers matters. The pack of 12 provides a working set suitable for a smaller dining room or as a top-up to an existing Evo collection. The range is designed to be mixed across shapes and glazes, so the granite finish can be introduced alongside other Evo pieces without conflict.
There are no installation requirements — this is tableware. Storage consideration is worth noting for busy operations: vitrified stoneware is heavier than bone china equivalents, so shelf loading and stacking discipline should be considered when ordering at scale.
These cups are best suited to restaurants, hotel dining rooms, and event caterers operating tasting or multi-course menus where presentation at the smaller end of the table is part of the guest experience. If your operation needs higher volumes or a different format within the Evo range, we’re happy to help you work through the options.
