Dudson Evo Jet Flat Plate 250mm (Pack of 6)

The Dudson Evo Jet flat plate is a 250mm vitrified stoneware plate finished in a deep, matte black. The Evo range is designed to evoke the aesthetic of hand-thrown pottery — each piece carries a subtly textured, artisan quality — while being manufactured to the consistency and durability standards a busy commercial kitchen requires. It reads as considered and contemporary on the pass without demanding the careful handling that genuinely handmade ceramics would.

Vitrified stoneware is a practical choice for commercial service. The vitrification process significantly reduces porosity, making the surface more resistant to staining, odour absorption, and the hairline crazing that can develop over time with lower-grade ceramics. The dark glaze tends to hold its finish well under regular commercial dishwasher cycles, and minor surface marks during service are far less visible against a dark background than they would be on lighter colourways — a small but useful operational advantage during a busy service.

The 250mm diameter sits comfortably in the mid-range for main course plating. It provides enough surface area for a well-composed dish without the overhang that can create handling difficulties on tighter table covers. The 770g weight per plate is solid without being cumbersome for front-of-house staff working through multiple covers.

• Vitrified stoneware construction resists staining and crazing under regular commercial use
• Dark matte finish conceals minor marks during service, reducing mid-service plate changes
• Consistent profile across the Evo Jet range simplifies stacking and storage
• Well suited to modern bistro, restaurant, and hotel dining environments
• Part of a coordinated range including bowls and additional flatware in the same finish

This plate works well as part of a broader Evo Jet table setting, and for operations building a full cover, the range extends to complementary pieces in the same material and finish. For very high-volume sites turning multiple sittings, it is worth considering total plate count and storage capacity before ordering — pack sizing and buffer stock requirements vary significantly by service volume.

If you are building a new table concept or integrating into an existing range, we are happy to talk through sizing, volume, and how the Evo Jet fits within the wider Dudson portfolio.
