The Dudson Evo Jet taster cup is a small-format piece from the Evo range, designed to replicate the textured, slightly irregular appearance of hand-thrown pottery. Made from vitrified stoneware, it is produced in a deep jet colourway that works well against both light and dark table settings. At 66ml capacity, it is sized for tasting portions, amuse-bouche, pre-dessert courses, or small shot-style drinks service.
Vitrified stoneware is a practical choice for front-of-house use. The vitrification process makes the clay body dense and largely non-porous, which helps resist chipping and crazing under the repeated thermal cycling of a busy service. These cups are dishwasher safe and hold up well in commercial glasswasher and dishwasher environments, which matters when you are turning covers quickly and pieces need to return to the pass cleanly and promptly.
The Evo Jet range suits operators who want a rustic, artisan aesthetic on the table without compromising on the durability expected of commercial tableware. The taster cup format is particularly useful for:
- Tasting menu and fine dining amuse-bouche courses
- Petit-four or pre-dessert presentations
- Small hot or cold beverage pours at events and banqueting
- Tasting portions at casual dining or street food concepts
Sold in packs of 12, quantities are worth considering in relation to your cover count and how frequently pieces move through the wash cycle during service. For high-volume operations running multiple sittings, building in a larger par stock is generally advisable to avoid running short during peak periods.
If you are building a full table setting from the Evo Jet range or need guidance on quantities for your cover count, the team is happy to help you work through what you need.
