This hoop back bar chair combines a classic bistro-inspired silhouette with practical contract-grade construction. The frame is made from rubber wood finished in a weathered oak effect, giving it a relaxed, rustic character that works well in informal dining areas, bar counters, and hotel lounges. The Bison Bordeaux seat adds a warm accent colour that complements both contemporary and traditional interiors.
In a commercial setting, chairs at bar height take considerable daily wear — customers shift their weight, pull chairs across flooring, and lean back during longer visits. The rubber wood construction offers reasonable rigidity and resistance to the knocks and scrapes typical of busy service environments. At 10kg, the chair has enough presence to feel stable without being unwieldy for staff rearranging covers between services.
Practical considerations worth noting before ordering:
- French bistro-style profile suits venues with medium to high seating density
- Weathered oak finish pairs well with natural material schemes — stone, slate, reclaimed wood
- Bison Bordeaux upholstered seat adds comfort for extended bar dwell times
- Rubber wood frame is well suited to indoor use in controlled environments
- Contract-rated construction meets standard commercial durability requirements
This chair is best suited to restaurants, wine bars, hotel bar areas, and café counters where a relaxed, characterful aesthetic is part of the venue identity. It is not intended for outdoor or covered terrace use. For venues expecting very heavy footfall or rougher treatment, a fully upholstered or metal-framed alternative may be worth considering.
