This hoop back dining chair pairs a classic bistro-inspired silhouette with a dark walnut rubber wood frame and a Shetland smoke upholstered seat. Sold in packs of two, it is designed for commercial hospitality environments where appearance and durability both matter — restaurants, cafes, hotel dining rooms, and similar venues where chairs take consistent daily use across multiple seatings.
Rubber wood is a well-regarded material in contract furniture for a reason: it is dense, stable, and holds up reliably under the kind of repeated use that would quickly expose weaker alternatives. The hoop back design is a proven format in commercial dining — it offers adequate back support for seated diners without the bulk of larger upholstered options, and the compact footprint makes it practical for tighter covers plans or venues that need to make efficient use of floor space.
From an operational standpoint, this chair works well in settings where you want a consistent, presentable look across the floor without high ongoing maintenance. Key practical points worth noting:
- Rubber wood frame suited to commercial contract use
- Dark walnut finish works with a range of neutral and natural interior palettes
- Upholstered seat in Shetland smoke adds comfort for longer dining occasions
- Compact dimensions suit standard bistro and restaurant table spacings
- Sold in pairs, useful for small-batch additions or replacements
The upholstered seat does mean care should be taken in environments prone to spillage — a fabric seat is less forgiving than a solid or wipe-clean alternative. For high-turnover casual dining, it is worth considering whether a sealed or hard seat might be more practical for your service style.
