Hoshizaki Premier KG 60 C DR U Single Glass Door Upright Display Fridge

The Hoshizaki Premier KG 60 C DR U is a single glass door upright display refrigerator from Hoshizaki’s Premier series — a range built around the requirements of commercial kitchens and food service operations where both visibility and reliable temperature holding matter. The glazed door allows staff and customers to see cabinet contents at a glance without opening the door, which helps maintain internal temperatures during busy periods.

Hoshizaki has a strong reputation for build quality in commercial refrigeration, and the Premier series reflects that. The cabinet is constructed with stable stainless steel and solid door hinges designed to handle the kind of repeated, heavy use that comes with a busy kitchen or service environment. It is rated to Climate Class 4, meaning it is suitable for ambient conditions up to 30°C — relevant in kitchens where ambient temperatures can climb during service.

From an operational standpoint, this cabinet suits sites that need product on display and accessible without compromising refrigeration performance. Practical advantages include:

• Glass door allows contents to be identified without opening, reducing temperature fluctuation
• Stainless steel construction is straightforward to clean and resists the wear of a working kitchen
• Solid door hinge design withstands high-frequency opening typical in busy service
• Castors available as an alternative to legs, useful in low-ceiling or space-restricted installations
• Upright single-door format suits counter runs, pass areas, or front-of-house display

Before ordering, it is worth confirming your available floor space and ceiling height — upright cabinets of this style require adequate clearance above and sufficient ventilation around the unit for the refrigeration system to operate correctly. The castor option can help with positioning in tighter spaces. Electrical connection requirements should also be verified with your installer before delivery.

This cabinet is well suited to restaurants, cafés, delis, and hotel kitchens where a combination of storage capacity and product visibility is needed. It works equally well behind the pass or in a front-of-house setting. For operations needing multi-door capacity or higher throughput, larger-format alternatives within the Premier range are worth considering.

If you are unsure whether this model fits your space, service volumes, or installation setup, our team is happy to talk it through before you commit to an order.
