Perhaps one of the best, most effective ways of preventing cross-contamination is to use a colour-coded system in your kitchen. The Hygiplas antibacterial low density chopping boards are a great way to expand your colour coding system into your prep.
Strong and durable, the purple Hygiplas cutting board is constructed from a low density polyethylene with antibacterial properties. This helps to reduce bacteria growth in comparison to traditional boards, whilst still offering commercial grade chopping board performance.
This Hygiplas chopping board is colour-coded purple indicating that it is for use with allergenic ingredients.
