This set of six lattice back dining chairs is made from rubberwood in a slightly distressed vintage finish, giving each piece a sense of character that sits well in settings where a more traditional or relaxed aesthetic is part of the overall feel. The lattice back and drop-in seat pad styling reference older furniture traditions without looking out of place in a contemporary hospitality environment.
In a busy dining room, chairs take considerable punishment — scraping across floors, being stacked and unstacked between sittings, and enduring repeated cleaning. The rubberwood construction is reasonably robust for contract use, and the material holds its finish well with normal care. These chairs are suitable for moderate-volume dining operations rather than the highest-turnover environments where heavier-duty frame construction would be the more practical choice.
A few practical points worth noting:
- Seat pads are upholstered in Bison Cedar green vinyl, which wipes down easily between covers
- Each chair conforms to CRIB 5 flame retardant standards, meeting the requirement for licensed and hospitality premises
- Sold as a pack of six, which suits smaller dining rooms and helps keep per-unit cost manageable
- The vintage distressed finish can show scuffs over time — this is characteristic of the style rather than a quality defect
These chairs work well in independent restaurants, gastropubs, hotel dining rooms, and café settings where a warm, traditional look is part of the interior brief. For larger sites requiring higher quantities or a more commercial-grade frame, it is worth exploring heavier-duty alternatives within the range.
If you are fitting out a dining space and want to talk through quantities, layout, or how these chairs complement other furniture in the collection, the team is happy to help you think it through before you order.
