This set of six lattice-back dining chairs is made from rubberwood with a lightly distressed vintage finish, giving each piece a natural warmth and character that suits traditional and rustic-style hospitality interiors. The drop-in seat pads are upholstered in Bison Espresso brown vinyl, and each chair meets CRIB 5 flame retardancy standards, which is a requirement for UK hospitality premises.
In practice, these chairs work well in settings where a relaxed, characterful aesthetic is part of the offer — pubs, independent restaurants, wine bars, and café-bistros being the most common applications. The rubberwood frame is solid enough for regular commercial use, and the vinyl seat covering makes cleaning straightforward between covers, which matters when service is continuous.
A few practical points worth considering before ordering:
- CRIB 5 compliant — meets UK fire safety requirements for hospitality use
- Vinyl upholstery wipes clean easily, suited to food-service environments
- Vintage distressed finish adds character to traditional or rustic-style interiors
- Sold as a pack of six, which reduces per-unit cost and simplifies reordering
- Contract-grade construction intended for commercial rather than domestic use
These chairs are best suited to lower-turnover dining environments where aesthetics and comfort carry as much weight as pure durability. For very high-footfall venues — busy pub dining rooms with multiple sittings a day, for example — it is worth considering whether a heavier-duty frame construction would hold up better over time.
