The Libbey Flare Pilsner is a tall, tapered beer glass designed specifically for serving lagers, pilsners, and pale ales in a commercial setting. The flared shape is recognised by customers and works practically to display the beer’s colour and carbonation while helping retain a consistent head throughout service.
In a busy bar or restaurant environment, glassware takes a lot of punishment. Libbey’s Safedge rim technology reinforces the most vulnerable part of the glass — the rim — reducing the rate of chipping during handling, stacking, and dishwasher cycles. This matters in high-turnover operations where glasses are cycled repeatedly through service and washing throughout the day.
- Flared shape displays carbonation and promotes a consistent beer head
- Safedge rim construction reduces chipping during high-frequency use
- Dishwasher safe, supporting rapid turnaround between service periods
- Clear glass allows customers to assess colour and clarity before drinking
- Supplied in a case of 36, practical for stocking a full bar
These glasses are well suited to pubs, bars, hotel bars, and casual dining restaurants where draft or bottled lager and pilsner are standard menu items. The 36-piece case quantity makes it a sensible option for initial stocking or topping up existing sets. For higher-volume sites or venues with a particular focus on breakage reduction, toughened or nucleated alternatives may be worth considering.
If you’re unsure whether this glass is the right fit for your operation or want to discuss quantities, the team is happy to help you work it out before you order.
