The Libbey Super Globe is a large-format glass designed for venues that serve oversized, sharing, or novelty drinks presentations. At 1.5 litres capacity, each glass is well suited to cocktail bars, casual dining restaurants, and licensed premises where theatrical or communal serves are part of the offer. The globe shape gives good visual impact without being impractical to hold or carry on a tray.
In a bar environment, these glasses are typically used for large single-serve cocktails, fishbowl-style sharing drinks, or non-alcoholic novelty serves. The capacity means they work equally well for a single generous serve or a build-your-own sharing drink for two. Being glassware rather than acrylic, they carry a quality feel that suits venues where presentation matters.
- Glass construction gives a premium look and feel compared to acrylic alternatives
- Dishwasher safe, which keeps turnaround practical during busy service
- Globe shape supports a wide range of garnish and presentation styles
- Sold in a pack of six, suited to stocking a working bar station
- 180mm height keeps the glass manageable despite the large capacity
Operationally, the main consideration is storage. At this size, these glasses take up meaningful shelf and back-bar space, and the globe profile means they do not stack. Venues ordering in volume should account for storage before committing to quantity. They are dishwasher safe, which is important for any commercial operation where hand-washing glassware at volume is not practical.
These glasses are best suited to cocktail bars, pub restaurants, and casual dining venues running novelty or large-format drinks on the menu. If you are looking for standard service glassware at higher volumes, a more conventional tumbler or copa range is likely to be more practical for everyday use.
If you are unsure whether this size works for your drinks menu or service style, we are happy to talk it through before you order.
