The Luminarc Broadway tumbler is a mid-sized all-purpose drinking glass finished in a consistent blue colour that runs throughout the glass rather than being applied as a surface coating or decoration. This means the colour is fully resistant to commercial dishwasher cycles and will not fade, chip, or wear away with repeated washing — a practical consideration for any venue where glassware is turned around at volume.
In service, the Broadway tumbler works well as a water glass, soft drinks vessel, or juice glass. The proportions are balanced and practical — wide enough to be comfortable in the hand, with a solid base that gives reasonable stability on a dressed table or busy bar surface. The coloured glass adds a considered visual element to a table setting without requiring additional effort from front-of-house teams.
The blue colourway allows operators to either build a matched table scheme or mix with clear or other coloured Broadway pieces for a more varied presentation. A few points worth considering when speccing these into a service:
- Colour runs throughout the glass — not a surface finish, so dishwasher safe under normal commercial conditions
- Supplied in packs of 16, so stock planning is straightforward for covers-based ordering
- Consistent sizing across the range supports stacking and storage efficiency
- Weight of 280g per glass gives a solid feel in use without being heavy to handle
These tumblers are well suited to restaurants, hotel dining rooms, wine bars, and café venues looking to add colour to their drinks service without investing in fragile or specialist glassware. For venues needing a more neutral or traditional look, the clear version of the Broadway range is worth considering instead.
If you are unsure how many packs your covers require, or whether the Broadway range fits your existing table scheme, the team is happy to help you work through the options.
