These scalloped dipping dishes are part of Olympia’s Bloom collection, a range built around tactile, shell-inspired forms that add quiet visual interest to table service without overshadowing the food. The curved, textured exterior gives each piece a considered, handcrafted quality that works well in settings where presentation matters — whether that’s a sharing board, a starter course, or a condiment presentation on a set menu.
In day-to-day service, porcelain of this construction handles the routine demands of a busy dining room reliably. The pieces are dishwasher safe, which keeps turnaround practical during service, and the unglazed foot helps prevent stacking slip and protects the glaze surface when dishes are stored in quantity. The white gloss finish is neutral enough to sit alongside most tableware schemes without clashing.
- Microwave and oven safe — useful for pre-warmed sauces or gentle holding
- Dishwasher safe for efficient turnaround between covers
- Unglazed foot reduces stacking damage and improves stability
- Backed by a lifetime edge chip warranty from Olympia
- Consistent shape and finish across the pack — important for uniform table presentation
At 75mm these are small dishes, well suited to dips, dressings, small-portion condiments, and amuse-bouche accompaniments. They are not intended for substantial side portions. Venues requiring larger sharing or side dishes should consider other pieces within the Bloom range or a larger format from Olympia’s wider catalogue.
The Bloom collection suits casual dining, contemporary restaurant settings, and hospitality venues where tableware presentation is part of the wider guest experience. They are less suited to high-volume canteen or cafeteria environments where simpler, more robust tableware is the practical choice.
If you’re building a full table setting around the Bloom collection or want to check compatibility with existing tableware, the team is happy to help you work through the options.
