Olympia Kristallon ABS Rolltop Cover GN 1/1

This Olympia Kristallon rolltop cover is a clear ABS lid designed to sit over standard GN 1/1 containers. Its purpose is straightforward: to protect food on display from airflow and contamination while keeping the contents fully visible to customers and staff.

The rolltop mechanism allows the cover to be opened and closed smoothly with one hand, which suits countertop and self-service settings where access needs to be quick and unobtrusive during service. The clear ABS construction keeps the presentation of baked goods, pastries, and similar items clean and unobstructed without requiring staff to lift or remove the cover entirely.

In practical terms, this cover is commonly used on café counters, bakery displays, and buffet or continental breakfast setups where presentation and hygiene matter equally. Key operational benefits include:

• Clear visibility so customers can see products without staff assistance
• One-handed rolltop operation for fast, low-disruption access
• Lightweight ABS construction that is easy to handle and clean
• Fits standard GN 1/1 containers already in use in most kitchens
• Reduces airborne contamination on open food displays

There are no installation requirements — the cover simply sits on top of a compatible GN 1/1 container. It is worth noting that ABS is suited to ambient and cool display use rather than hot-hold applications; it is not designed to retain heat or be used directly over heated equipment. It is compatible with the Olympia Kristallon mango wood standing tray GN 1/1, available separately, for operators looking to create a complete countertop display.

This cover is best suited to cafés, bakeries, hotels, and similar venues with countertop or buffet food displays. If you are setting up a larger display or need covers across multiple stations, it is worth getting in touch to discuss quantities and compatible accessories.
