The Olympia Kristallon Orleans tumblers are 200ml SAN plastic tumblers designed to replicate the appearance of glass whilst offering considerably better resistance to breakage. SAN (styrene acrylonitrile) plastic is a widely used material in commercial drinkware — it carries good clarity, holds up well to repeated handling, and tolerates the knocks and drops that are routine in a busy service environment.
In practice, these tumblers are most commonly used for juice and water service — breakfast settings, table water covers, café counters, and outdoor or event catering where glass is impractical or presents a safety concern. The panelled design gives a reasonable visual finish for front-of-house use without requiring the care and storage discipline that glassware demands.
- SAN construction resists chips, cracks, and everyday breakage better than glass
- Stackable profile helps with storage efficiency and post-service clearing
- Consistent 200ml capacity suits portioned juice and water service
- Clear material maintains a presentable appearance on table or counter
- Pack of 12 provides a practical working quantity for most smaller outlets
It is worth noting that SAN plastic, like most plastic drinkware, will show surface scratching over time with repeated commercial dishwasher cycles. Replacement is straightforward given the low unit cost, but operators running very high volumes may want to consider how frequently they rotate stock. These tumblers are not suitable for hot beverages.
They are a practical fit for cafés, hotels, event caterers, schools, and hospitality venues where a glass-look tumbler is needed without the fragility or breakage costs of actual glass. If you are unsure whether these suit your service volume or setting, the team is happy to help you work it out.
