Olympia Kristallon SAN Pebbled Tumblers Blue 275ml (Pack of 6)

The Olympia Kristallon Pebbled Tumbler is a 275ml SAN plastic tumbler designed for commercial drinks service where breakage risk, handling volume, or operator duty-of-care make traditional glassware impractical. SAN (styrene acrylonitrile) is a hard, clear plastic that closely resembles glass in appearance while offering considerably greater resistance to knocks and drops. The pebbled surface finish adds grip during service and contributes to the visual appeal without relying on colour alone.

In practice, these tumblers suit operations that move high volumes of cold drinks throughout the day — schools, care homes, staff canteens, outdoor event catering, and café terraces are typical settings. The material is lighter than glass, which helps when loading trays or serving in environments where staff may be less experienced. Being stackable, they store efficiently in limited front-of-house or servery space.

The practical case for SAN tumblers in the right setting is straightforward:

• Significantly lower breakage rate compared to glass, reducing replacement costs over time
• Safer for environments where broken glass presents a serious risk — care homes, schools, outdoor service
• Lightweight construction reduces tray weight and handling fatigue during busy service
• Stackable design keeps storage compact in countertop servery layouts
• The blue colour coding can be useful where drinks or service stations are organised by colour

These tumblers are not a substitute for glassware in settings where presentation standards require it — a fine dining room or a cocktail bar would not be the right application. They are also hand-wash recommended for longevity, as repeated commercial dishwasher cycles can affect clarity over time; it is worth confirming dishwasher compatibility with the team if that is a requirement for your operation.

Supplied in a pack of six, they are well suited to smaller operations or as a practical top-up for existing stock. Higher-volume sites or those equipping a full servery from scratch may want to consider larger pack formats or a broader range of SAN drinkware to cover different service types.

If you are unsure whether SAN plastic drinkware is the right choice for your service style, the team is happy to talk through the options.
