The Onis New Era Double Old Fashioned Tumbler is a 350ml glass designed for bars, restaurants, and hospitality venues serving spirits, cocktails, and long drinks. The embossed detailing gives the glass a considered, modern-vintage appearance that works well in both casual and more formal bar settings without looking out of place in either.
In service, these glasses are treated with Onis Xtratuff, a process that increases resistance to both thermal and mechanical shock. In practice, that means the glasses hold up better through the routine stresses of a busy bar environment — rapid temperature changes from ice, repeated dishwasher cycles, and the general handling that comes with high-cover service. No glass is unbreakable, but this treatment genuinely extends service life compared with untreated equivalents.
A few practical points worth noting for bar operations:
- Stackable design with a supporting stacking ring that bears load on the body, not the rim, reducing chip risk during storage
- Dishwasher safe, making end-of-service turnaround straightforward
- The 350ml capacity suits a standard double spirit with ice or a shorter mixed drink
- Sold in packs of 12, which suits most venues buying to complement existing stock or replace losses
These glasses are well suited to hotel bars, gastropubs, and restaurant bars running a regular cocktail or spirits programme. For very high-volume venues going through significant glass breakage, it is worth discussing whether a higher-specification or larger-quantity option would offer better value over time.
If you are unsure how many glasses to carry as working stock relative to your cover count, or want to talk through what else might complement your bar setup, we are happy to help you work that out before you order.
