The Origin POP chair is a stackable polypropylene side chair designed for commercial dining environments. Available here in traffic black and sold as a pack of two, it suits cafés, restaurant dining rooms, canteens, and outdoor terrace seating where a clean, contemporary look is needed without compromising practicality.
Polypropylene is a well-established material choice for commercial seating. It is resistant to knocks, easy to wipe down, and holds up well under the repeated use that comes with busy service periods. At 3.4kg per chair, the POP is light enough for front-of-house staff to move and rearrange quickly, which matters in operations that reconfigure covers between services. The UV-resistant finish means the colour remains stable in outdoor settings, avoiding the fading that can make cheaper chairs look tired within a season.
A few practical points worth considering:
- Made from over 50% recycled polypropylene — a reasonable consideration for operators with sustainability commitments
- UV-resistant finish supports use on covered terraces or outdoor dining areas
- Lightweight construction makes repositioning and stacking straightforward for front-of-house teams
- Consistent colourway across packs — useful when ordering in quantity for a uniform look
- Sold in packs of two, so factor that into your order quantity calculation
These chairs are well suited to mid-volume dining operations. For high-turnover venues handling large covers continuously, it is worth considering whether a heavier upholstered or metal-frame option would better suit the demands of the space. The POP works best where light weight and easy movement between services are priorities.
If you are furnishing a new space or replacing existing seating across multiple areas, our team is happy to talk through quantities and layout before you commit to an order.
