The Pujadas 1/1 egg pan is a gastronorm-format aluminium baking pan with a non-stick coating, designed for use in commercial ovens during breakfast service and batch preparation. The 1/1 GN footprint means it sits neatly into standard oven racks and gastronorm systems, keeping it compatible with most professional kitchen setups without requiring any adaptation.
In practice, this type of pan is most commonly found in hotels, café kitchens, and contract catering operations where eggs — baked, fried, or set — need to be prepared in volume with consistent results and a clean release. The non-stick coating reduces the likelihood of product sticking during service and makes wiping down between uses more straightforward than with uncoated alternatives.
- Non-stick surface supports clean food release without excessive fat or oil
- 1/1 GN format integrates with standard oven and bain marie systems
- Aluminium construction conducts heat evenly for consistent baking results
- Suitable for repeated daily use across breakfast and all-day service
- Easier to clean between uses than uncoated or cast alternatives
It is worth noting that non-stick coatings on aluminium pans do require some care — abrasive cleaning tools and metal utensils will shorten the coating’s life. For kitchens with very high turnover or particularly robust cleaning regimes, a heavier-gauge or reinforced-coating alternative may prove more cost-effective over time.
This pan is well suited to kitchens running regular breakfast or brunch covers where batch egg preparation is part of the daily workflow. If you are equipping a larger operation or need pans that will go through a commercial dishwasher regularly, it is worth having a conversation with us about which option will hold up best in your specific setup.
