The Silva Free Headlamp Spare / Replacement Battery XS 14.4 Wh is a compact and rechargeable battery. This mini-size and water-resistant battery fits headlamps within the Free series. Our Free series is made for flexible use regardless of model.
You can easily move the lamp unit from the headband and instead attach it to you helmet or a handlebar. The more light (higher lumen) you want the more powerful battery you need to bring with you.
If you want to use your headlamp for shorter runs or activities, a small battery is enough. But if you’re going to be out for a long time, it’s better to choose a larger battery and instead attach it to you helmet, to a handlebar or put it in your backpack with the included extension cable.
The battery meets IPX5 standard (water resistant) and withstands heavy rain and water from any direction. The LED battery indicator will show battery status when charging or when turning on the headlamp, and ensures that you can keep track of how much power remains in the battery.
The battery is easily charged via a USB-C cable and has a charging time of 3 hours. Stay warm for better capacity The battery capacity could depend on your body heat as well as the outside temperature.
The long extension cord from Silva gives you the option to carry the battery close to your body. This could be crucial in many ways. Keeping the battery as warm as possible in cold weather extends its burn time.
