The Steelite Aurora Vesuvius range brings a distinctive coloured glaze to a conventional cup format. The Rose Quartz finish gives these 228ml cups a warm, muted tone that works well on café counters, restaurant tables, and hotel breakfast settings where plain white tableware feels too clinical. They are produced in alumina vitrified ceramic, which is the standard construction for commercial-grade crockery — denser and more resistant to chipping than standard earthenware.
In practice, alumina vitrified ceramic holds up well in busy dishwasher cycles and resists the staining and crazing that can affect lighter-duty pieces over time. The coloured glaze on the Aurora Vesuvius range is fired to the same standard as the body, so surface wear from repeated commercial washing tends to be gradual rather than sudden.
- Consistent glaze finish supports a cohesive table setting across covers
- Compatible with standard commercial dishwasher programmes
- Suitable for hot beverages including espresso-based drinks and tea service
- The 228ml capacity works for standard cup service without being oversized
If you are building or refreshing a crockery range across a full dining room, it is worth considering whether your existing tableware coordinates with this glaze tone before committing to a full order. The Aurora Vesuvius range includes additional pieces, so matching across the collection is straightforward if you are specifying from scratch.
If you are unsure how many covers this pack size will support for your service pattern, or whether the Rose Quartz finish will work alongside your existing range, we are happy to help you think it through before you order.
