These taster dip pots from Steelite’s Craft Porcini range are small porcelain vessels intended for dips, sauces, amuse-bouche portions, and tasting courses. The 65mm diameter makes them a practical size for tableside condiments or pre-plated tasting elements, and they are sold in packs of twelve to suit the realities of service — spares matter when small pieces are in constant rotation.
The Craft Porcini colourway has a warm, earthy tone with a finish that reads as hand-crafted rather than mass-produced. That quality makes these pots well suited to menus where the presentation style is relaxed and artisanal, though the finish is controlled enough to work in more formal dining environments too. Porcelain construction means they hold up to regular commercial dishwasher cycles without the glaze degrading noticeably over time, which matters when small tableware items go through the wash multiple times each service.
Practically, pieces like these are easy to underestimate at the buying stage. Consider how many tables you are turning per service, how many covers each pot supports, and whether your dishwasher throughput allows adequate turnaround. For most operations running sharing menus or multi-course tasting formats, a pack of twelve is a starting point rather than a final quantity.
If you are building out a full table setting within the Craft Porcini range or need guidance on quantities relative to your cover count, we are happy to help you work through the numbers before you order.
