These Steelite Craft White medium low bowls are melamine serving pieces designed to mirror the aesthetic of the well-regarded Craft ceramic dinnerware range. At 330mm in diameter, they sit comfortably on a buffet counter and offer a practical capacity for salads, sides, pasta dishes, and similar self-service fare. The melamine construction means they present a clean, professional appearance on the pass while being considerably more resistant to chipping and breakage than porcelain equivalents.
In buffet and catering environments, melamine bowls of this type earn their place through durability. They can withstand the repeated handling, stacking, and general wear of a busy service without the attrition rate that comes with ceramic. They are also lighter to carry in bulk, which is a practical consideration when setting up or replenishing a buffet line quickly during service.
- Resistant to chipping and cracking under normal buffet service conditions
- Consistent white finish maintains a professional table presentation
- Lighter than ceramic, reducing handling effort during setup and cleardown
- Designed to complement Craft ceramic tableware for a cohesive look
- Sold in a 12-pack, suited to stocking a full buffet counter run
These bowls are suited to hotels, event caterers, contract catering operations, and any site running regular buffet or self-service covers. They are not intended for use in conventional oven or microwave applications — standard guidance for melamine serviceware applies. For operations requiring individual portion bowls at the table rather than serving pieces, Steelite’s ceramic Craft range would be the more appropriate direction.
If you are unsure whether this size and format fits your buffet layout or cover requirements, we are happy to talk it through.
