These square trays are part of the White Album collection by Rene Ozorio, produced by Steelite — a range built around fine china with a clean, bright finish that works well as a neutral base for plated food presentation. The 162mm square format sits comfortably as an amuse-bouche tray, a canapé base, or a small sharing plate depending on how the kitchen uses it.
In a front-of-house environment, the appeal of this range lies in its restraint. The white body and simple square profile let the food take precedence, which suits contemporary plating styles where portion definition and visual clarity matter. Fine china carries a degree of translucency and brightness that ceramic alternatives often lack, and that quality tends to read well under restaurant lighting.
From an operational standpoint, fine china is generally dishwasher safe and suitable for regular commercial warewashing cycles, though it warrants careful stacking during service and storage to avoid chipping at the edges — a consideration for any fine china piece in a busy kitchen pass.
- Clean white finish provides a neutral canvas for contemporary plating
- Square format suits canapé, amuse-bouche, and small plated portions
- Fine china construction offers a bright, luminous surface quality
- Part of the White Album range, designed to mix and match across pieces
- Supplied in a pack of 12, practical for service stock levels
This range is well suited to upscale restaurants, private dining operations, and event catering where presentation consistency matters. For high-turnover casual dining, a more robust earthenware or porcelain option may be worth considering alongside.
