The Tefcold FSC1380 is a single glass door upright merchandiser offering 372 litres of chilled display capacity. It is designed to keep bottled and canned products at consistent serving temperatures while keeping the contents clearly visible to customers — a practical combination for any site where impulse purchase and product visibility matter.
Fan-assisted cooling helps maintain an even temperature throughout the cabinet, which is particularly useful during periods of heavy door activity such as lunchtime rushes or busy retail hours. The LED lighting built into the door frame illuminates stock clearly without generating excessive heat inside the cabinet, helping to maintain temperature stability during service.
From an operational standpoint, the FSC1380 is well suited to environments where space is a consideration but display capacity cannot be compromised. Key practical advantages include:
- Fan-assisted cooling for consistent temperature distribution throughout the cabinet
- LED door lighting that improves product visibility without adding heat load
- Single glass door design that balances accessibility with cold retention
- Integrated lock for stock security during quieter periods or overnight
- Upright format maximises display capacity within a compact floor footprint
Installation is straightforward for a unit of this type — it requires a standard mains supply and adequate clearance at the rear and top for ventilation. It should be positioned away from direct heat sources such as cooking equipment or direct sunlight, both of which can increase compressor workload and affect temperature stability. The unit is not designed for outdoor or unventilated environments.
The FSC1380 is a practical choice for convenience retailers, cafés, bars, hotel grab-and-go points, and workplace catering operations. It suits sites with moderate to good throughput of chilled drinks. For higher-volume or multi-door display requirements, larger capacity alternatives are available within the range.
If you are unsure whether this cabinet is the right fit for your site layout or service volume, our team is happy to talk it through with you before you commit.
