The Bauscher Elements Sand collection is a range of stoneware tableware finished with a soft, natural semi-matte glaze that sits comfortably within contemporary plating styles. These 120mm bowls have a handcrafted aesthetic with clean, unfussy lines — the kind of understated profile that works well as a canvas for colourful or plant-forward dishes without competing with the food.
In a service environment, the stoneware construction gives a reassuring weight and warmth in the hand, while the glaze finish holds up reliably through repeated dishwasher cycles. Bauscher tableware is engineered for professional use, so chipping resistance and glaze durability are built in from the outset — important considerations when bowls are going through the wash dozens of times a week.
These bowls suit a range of practical front-of-house uses:
- Starters, small plates, and amuse-bouche presentations
- Sharing accompaniments and condiment bowls
- Plant-based and grain-based dishes where the neutral tone complements the palette
- Dessert courses where a compact, low-profile bowl suits the portion
As with all Bauscher Elements pieces, these are oven, microwave, and dishwasher safe — which simplifies kitchen workflow and reduces handling requirements between courses. The 120mm diameter is a versatile size, though operations running larger portion presentations or sharing-style service may find a wider bowl from the same collection better suited to their format.
If you are building a table setting across multiple pieces or matching to an existing collection, the team is happy to talk through what works together before you commit to quantities.
