Churchill Delta Grey Profile Plates 206mm (Pack of 12)

The Churchill Delta Grey profile plate is part of Churchill’s Super Vitrified range — a line of tableware produced specifically for the demands of professional food service. The 206mm size positions these as a versatile side or starter plate, and the Delta profile introduces a subtle surface texture drawn from the natural contours of water-carved landscapes. The result is a plate with quiet visual character that keeps the focus on the food rather than the crockery itself.

Churchill Super Vitrified is a well-regarded body in commercial kitchens precisely because it performs reliably across the daily punishment of busy service. The in-glaze decoration bonds colour and finish into the clay body during firing rather than sitting on the surface, which means the grey tone holds up through repeated commercial dishwasher cycles without fading or wearing through. The semi-matte finish contributes to that contemporary look whilst remaining practical to clean.

From an operational standpoint, these plates are built to cope with the realities of high-turnover service:

• Thermal shock resistance handles movement between cold storage and heated pass environments
• Good heat retention helps maintain food temperature through the pass and to the table
• Fully glazed base reduces chipping risk during stacking and racking
• Microwave and dishwasher safe for flexible front- and back-of-house use
• Stain-resistant surface supports quick turnaround between covers

These plates are well suited to restaurants, bistros, hotel dining rooms, and contract catering operations looking for a cohesive, understated tableware aesthetic. They work as part of a co-ordinated Delta Grey table setting or alongside complementary neutral tones. Sites running very high covers who need the deepest possible stock levels should consider whether a larger pack format or a more robust profile plate better fits their service model.

If you’re building out a full table setting or need guidance on quantities for your cover count, we’re happy to help you work through the options.
