Churchill Delta Grey Profile Plates 273mm (Pack of 12)

The Churchill Delta Grey profile plate is a 273mm round plate from Churchill’s Super Vitrified range. The Delta collection takes its visual cues from the subtle textures found in natural stone and waterways, resulting in a semi-matte, gently textured surface in a muted grey tone. The effect is understated rather than decorative — the plate draws attention to the food placed on it rather than itself.

Churchill Super Vitrified is a well-regarded choice for commercial dining environments that need tableware to hold up under sustained daily use. The in-glaze decoration bonds the colour and texture into the body of the plate during firing, which helps it resist fading, surface crazing, and staining over repeated machine wash cycles. Thermal shock resistance means the plates can move from dishwasher heat to ambient service conditions without the micro-cracking that shortens the life of lesser-quality crockery. The fully glazed base reduces the risk of chipping during stacking, which matters in any operation where plates are handled quickly and stacked frequently.

• In-glaze decoration resists fading through repeated commercial dishwasher cycles
• Thermal shock resistance reduces breakage risk in fast-paced service environments
• Fully glazed base helps prevent chipping when stacking and storing
• Semi-matte grey finish presents food cleanly without competing for visual attention
• Microwave safe, supporting flexible service and plating workflows

At 273mm this is a practical main-course plate size, suited to à la carte covers, casual dining, and hotel restaurant service. It works equally well in a high-turnover environment where tableware durability is a primary concern, or in a more considered dining setting where presentation matters. Operators running very high cover counts may want to consider heavier-gauge alternatives within the Churchill range that are engineered specifically for maximum-throughput environments.

If you are specifying tableware across a full dining room refurbishment or want to confirm this plate sits correctly alongside other Delta Grey pieces in your current setup, the team is happy to help you work through the details.
