Churchill Delta Grey Walled Plates 260mm (Pack of 6)

The Churchill Delta Grey walled plate is a 260mm round plate with a shallow walled profile, produced in Churchill’s Super Vitrified body. The grey colouration and subtle surface texture draw on natural forms, creating a backdrop that keeps the focus on the food rather than the crockery. The semi-matte finish gives the plate a considered, contemporary appearance without demanding much from the operator in terms of presentation.

In service, Churchill Super Vitrified is a practical choice for commercial use. The material handles the thermal cycling of a busy pass — moving from dishwasher heat to cold storage and back without the micro-cracking that can affect lower-grade ceramics over time. The walled profile helps contain sauces and dressings, which is useful across a range of plating styles from composed starters to main courses.

From an operational standpoint, a few characteristics are worth noting:

• In-glaze decoration maintains the surface colour under repeated commercial dishwasher cycles
• Thermal shock resistance reduces breakage risk during rapid temperature changes in service
• Fully glazed base protects plate rims during stacking and storage
• Microwave-safe construction supports holding and finishing workflows
• Stain resistance helps maintain presentation standards across a long service

At 260mm, this is a plate suited to main courses in most contexts, though it works equally well as a generous starter plate. The walled profile does add some height to stacked columns, so it is worth considering plate storage space and rack sizing before ordering in volume. The plates are sold in packs of six, which suits top-up purchasing alongside an existing Churchill Delta Grey collection.

This plate works well in restaurants, hotel dining rooms, and café environments where a neutral, textured aesthetic complements the menu style. Operations requiring a smaller side plate or a larger sharing plate will find other sizes available within the Delta Grey range.
