The Libbey Cosmopolitan is a stemless cocktail glass with a conical bowl profile, designed to present cocktails cleanly without the fragility of a traditional stem. Made from soda lime glass in a seamless, join-free construction, each glass is notably robust for everyday bar use. The 240ml capacity suits a standard cocktail pour with room for garnish or ice.
In a busy bar environment, stemless glassware tends to hold up better during service than stemmed alternatives — there is less leverage on the base during handling, washing, and stacking, which reduces breakage rates over time. Libbey’s Safedge rim technology reinforces the rim edge, the point most vulnerable to chipping during commercial dishwasher cycles and glass-to-glass contact in storage.
- Join-free soda lime construction reduces weak points and improves durability
- Safedge rim protection guards against chipping in high-cycle dishwasher use
- Stemless design lowers the risk of breakage during handling and storage
- Conical bowl presents cocktails clearly and works well for garnish placement
- Fully dishwasher safe, compatible with standard commercial glasswasher programmes
These glasses are straightforward to store and stack without specialist racking, which suits sites where back-of-bar storage space is limited. At 280g per glass, they have a solid feel without being heavy to handle during service. The pack of 12 is a practical opening quantity for a cocktail list with moderate throughput; busier cocktail bars or larger venues are likely to need multiple packs to maintain adequate par levels through a full service.
