The Seasons by Porcelite Graphite Rectangular Platter is a porcelain serving piece finished in a muted graphite tone. At 27x20cm it sits in a practical mid-size format — large enough to present a composed main course or a shared starter, without being unwieldy on a dressed table. Sold in packs of six, it is intended for professional hospitality use rather than occasional domestic entertaining.
Porcelite’s Seasons range is produced to commercial catering standards, meaning the glaze and body are designed to withstand repeated high-temperature dishwasher cycles without crazing or fading. The graphite colourway holds up well in busy service environments where small chips or surface marks are more visible on stark white ware — the darker tone is more forgiving in day-to-day use while still giving a clean, considered look on the table.
Operationally, the rectangular format works well for a range of service styles:
- Plated main courses where the elongated shape suits modern, linear presentation
- Sharing platters for informal dining and small-plates menus
- Buffet and counter display where the flat, stable base is practical
- Canapé service and front-of-house pass presentation
There are no installation or utility requirements to consider. The main practical point is stock management: buying in sixes keeps the back-of-house china count consistent and makes it straightforward to replace breakages without mismatched pieces on the table.
This platter suits restaurants, bistros, hotels and event caterers looking for a versatile, neutral-toned piece that photographs well and coordinates across a wider table setting. For operations needing a larger serving surface or a full matching range including bowls, plates and ramekins, there are additional pieces within the Seasons by Porcelite Graphite collection worth considering alongside this platter.
